This four-piece hostess set complements Sanibel Surf flatware, a pattern that evokes the sunny nature of the seashore. Brightly polished to a mirror finish, the pieces all have handle ends that curl sideways, much like a wave or a seashell. The overall effect is one of playfulness. Made of 18/10 stainless-steel, the serving pieces are well-balanced and feature a substantial heft.
Included in the hostess set are a 9-3/8-inch serving spoon; 9-3/8-inch decoratively pierced serving spoon; 9-1/4-inch four-pronged cold meat fork; and a 7-1/4-inch ladle for gravy and sauces. Moderately priced and designed for everyday use, the pieces resist tarnish and are conveniently dishwasher-safe. A family-owned business since 1977, Ginkgo International is dedicated to quality design and value when it comes to flatware for the home. --Ann Bieri
