Care and seasoning: The skillet arrives factory pre-seasoned and ready to cook. After each use, rinse with hot water, use the chainmail scrubber to remove stuck food, dry completely, and wipe on a thin coat of cooking oil. Skip the dishwasher and long soaks for the cast iron. The seasoning builds into a more nonstick surface the more you cook with it.
