The story
From a coating centre in the Alps
Swiss Diamond traces its origins to 1974 and the HORT Coating Center in Sierre, Switzerland. Its diamond-reinforced nonstick coating won a Gold Medal at the 1999 inventors’ exhibition in Geneva, and Swiss Diamond International was formed in 2001.
The HD coating followed in 2010, and the XD line later won a Red Dot design award.
