The 3-quart baker's pristine beauty and excellent heat retention make it a wonderful serving vessel that goes from oven to table, and its plain design is certain to blend with all dinnerware, from casual and modern to formal and vintage.
Family-founded in 1818, the Pillivuyt porcelain factory still employs skilled artisans who use the original time-honored traditions of handcrafting each piece. Replacement molds are all handmade by craftspeople who have spent many years in training, and who shape them to the level of perfection that this superior bakeware requires. The result is a tough porcelain base that can withstand temperature extremes, making this baker safe to move among the oven, freezer, microwave, or broiler. And, with a little liquid in the baker, the pan can even be placed over a diffused flame on the stovetop. All pieces are glazed and fired at temperatures of about 2,500 degrees Fahrenheit, which produces a non-porous, rock-hard finish that easily cleans up by hand or in the dishwasher. Pillivuyt square bakers come in four sizes and have a number of uses in your everyday cooking - from baking cakes and brownies to appetizers and roasts. Since all Pillivuyt dishes can be put in the freezer, the oven, the microwave and the dishwasher and all look great on the table, these are especially versatile cooking tools. These hearty dishes are chip-resistant and easy to clean and can even be put under the broiler for those finishing touches - browning, crisping or melted toppings. The walls of these dishes are thin and even, making heat conduction extremely efficient. The number of sizes to choose from gives you plenty of options for serving small families to large groups. The large square baker is a standard size for brownies and other dessert recipes. It measures 9 inches square and has a 1.5 quart capacity.

Returns or Exchanges Product Policy 

If you find you need to return an item, you must request an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number and follow the below guidelines:

  • Returns are allowed within 30 days of delivery. *See Exceptions
  • Email cs@bigkitchen.com. Include your order number, item number, detailed description of what the issue is (if any), full name, and phone number.
  • Items eligible for returns or exchanges must be in new, mint condition and must be in the original, undamaged manufacturer's packaging with all packaging materials including instruction booklets and blank warranty cards.
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable regardless of the reason for return. Customers will incur the expense for returns. We do not issue pre-paid shipping labels.
  • Do NOT place stickers or shipping labels on the original manufacturer's packaging.
  • Use a shipping method that provides insurance and a tracking number as BigKitchen is not responsible for items lost or damaged during the return process.
  • An RMA # does not guarantee a final disposition, all returns are subject to inspection.
  • In the event you return an item purchased under a free shipping offer, we will deduct the actual shipping cost of your original order from your refund.
  • Most refunds are processed in 3-5 business days after we receive your return.
